About the role Mercy Community are searching for a dynamic Team Manager to guide our fantastic Counselling team in Toowoomba. This is Permanent Full-time opportunity working with a team with a variety of skills and experience and working alongside a compassionate and enthusiastic Senior Program Manager. Provide effective leadership, management and support in the development and implementation of high-quality service delivery to children, families and other stakeholders in the counselling programs. $106,388 per annum (SCHADS level 6) plus superannuation plus generous salary packaging available This role involves but is not limited to Oversee the development of goal-oriented intervention and support plans Collaborate to identify client needs and deliver high-quality services within available resources, continuously evaluating effectiveness and adapting to changing needs and dynamics Ensure that program operate in alignment with Mercy Community’s policies, procedures, and organisational values, as well as service agreements, accreditation requirements, and other relevant protocols, with close consultation with Senior Management supervisor Build and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders, including the Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services, to uphold program reputation Facilitate ongoing feedback from clients and stakeholders to ensure continuous service improvement About you As the successful applicant, you will possess: Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Behavioural Sciences, Psychology or related discipline Strong understanding of counselling interventions for children and young people, especially those who have experienced child abuse and neglect Proven ability to manager, inspire and mentor staff, fostering a high-performance team culture Current and valid Queensland Provisional Green or above Driver’s License Current and valid Paid Blue Card (Queensland Working with Children Check) or ability to apply Evidence of current vaccination against whooping cough (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement) Why Mercy Community Mercy Community is a Catholic not-for-profit that provides a wide range of services supporting families, young people, and the elderly.
