With a strong pipeline of projects, we are looking for an experienced Lead Electrician / Install Team Leader to lead on-site solar installations and drive safe, high-quality outcomes across our commercial portfolio.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to an electrician who enjoys running jobs, mentoring teams, and delivering projects right the first time.
The Role
Reporting to the GM – You will lead a team of electricians and solar technicians to deliver commercial solar installations safely, on time and on budget.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading commercial solar installations from site start through to commissioning
* Supervising electrical tradespeople and solar technicians on site
* Ensuring all works comply with Australian Standards, Queensland regulations and company processes
* Conducting daily pre-start meetings and on-site safety leadership
* Coordinating with Project Managers, Engineering and Operations teams
* Liaising with subcontractors, clients and site stakeholders
* Ensuring productivity targets and weekly project plans are met
* Completing QA checks, audits and project documentation
* Providing on-the-job training and mentoring to team members

About You
You are a confident site leader with strong electrical fundamentals and proven commercial solar experience.
Essential requirements:
* Current Electrical Licence (QLD)
* White Card
* SAA Accreditation
* Demonstrated experience in commercial solar installations
* Strong safety focus and ability to lead by example
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
Highly regarded:
* Battery accreditation
* Experience leading install teams on large or complex projects
