The Opportunity

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Orthopaedic Registrars and Senior Registrars to join a busy surgical team. This is a hands-on role providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient orthopaedic services.

You’ll gain unparalleled exposure to a wide range of trauma, elective, and reconstructive orthopaedic conditions while working closely with specialist surgeons in a cooperative, multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide high-quality clinical care to inpatients and outpatients within the Orthopaedic Department.
- Participate in operating theatre lists, including opportunities to perform surgeries under supervision (Registrar level).
- Supervise junior doctors and contribute to education programs for interns, residents, and medical students.
- Take part in the on-call roster to support 24/7 service delivery.
- Engage in research, quality improvement, and peer review activities.
- Foster a positive, safe, and culturally respectful workplace.

About You

Registrar Requirements:

- Eligible for general registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- At least 2 years’ postgraduate experience, with exposure to orthopaedics or surgery.

Senior Registrar Requirements:

- Eligible for general registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant postgraduate experience.

- Passion for delivering high-quality patient care and supporting junior staff.
