This is an exciting opportunity to pioneer and lead the delivery of youth programs in the Northern Territory. With a focus on community development and partnerships, you will create impactful change for young people in urban and regional communities.
As a Youth Services Manager, you will lead a diverse team, build collaborative relationships with local stakeholders, and contribute to national practice frameworks. You will also drive local solutions tailored to community needs, with travel required within the Territory and occasionally interstate.
* Lead the delivery of youth services across the NT with a focus on community-led development
* Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with local communities and key stakeholders
* Contribute to the review, consolidation, and growth of youth services in the region
* Drive implementation of national practice frameworks at the local level
* Champion the mission and values through involvement in local leadership teams
* Ensure services are resourced, funded, and aligned with The Salvation Army's Youth Model of Care
* Build, mentor and empower a professional team with a positive, purpose-driven culture
* Provide day-to-day operational leadership and quality assurance across all youth programs
Required Skills & Qualifications
Applicants should have:
* Degree qualification in social work, welfare, community development or related field
* Relevant experience, including senior management experience
* High level understanding of contemporary youth work practices
* Experience in active membership in community or government bodies within the sector
* Relevant state Working with Children Check
* Current Drivers Licence
