Financial Planner
We are seeking a diligent and technically skilled financial planner to join our project controls team, focusing on mechanical and pipework scopes.
The Project Overview
The project includes the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of the plant with first production in 2028. The works encompass marine operations, tunnels, seawater intake systems, desalination plants, groundwater management, drinking water storage, and pump systems, supported by civil, electrical, and earthworks.
1. Develop and maintain forecasts based on key drivers, updating projections as project conditions evolve.
2. Create, maintain, and optimize Excel workbooks for PowerBI visualization.
3. Analyze Earned Value metrics, including CPI and SPI, providing timely insights into project performance.
4. Monitor productivity trends and incorporate them into cost forecasts and recovery plans.
5. Manage multiple cost codes across mechanical and pipework disciplines, collaborating with engineers to validate forecasting and resolve discrepancies.
6. Promote consistent application of cost control processes across sites and offices.
7. Understand the financial implications of project decisions.
