This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to operate independently without the support of a substantial corporate infrastructure. You will be responsible for overseeing remediation and demolition activities at the Coalcliff site, managing professional and delivery contractors, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.
About the Role
* This is a hybrid work from home and on-site role that is expected to be required for 2+ years.
* The role can be constructed flexibly to suit the successful candidate's circumstances.
You will live in the Sydney or Illawarra metropolitan regions, within 90 minutes drive from Coalcliff. Site attendance will be required several times per month with more frequent visits initially and during periods of significant site work.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversight of remediation and demolition activities at the Coalcliff site.
* Management of professional and delivery contractors.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.
About You
* You are a senior civil engineer with a pragmatic approach and the confidence to operate independently.
* You bring a degree in Civil Engineering or closely related discipline.
* 15+ years' experience, including senior responsibility for infrastructure or industrial site remediation.
* Demonstrated ability to deliver complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
