Job Description

As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our diverse customer base. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the daily activities of service technicians and team leaders, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet customer needs.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling work, as well as monitoring technician productivity and repair quality. You will also provide technical support to service technicians, escalating complex issues when necessary.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will be expected to engage in continuous improvement activities to enhance processes and meet changing customer expectations.



Required Skills and Qualifications

* Safety Leadership: Genuine commitment to safety leadership is essential for this role.
* Leadership and Team Management: Strong leadership and team management skills are required to manage a team of service technicians and team leaders.
* Service Management Experience: Proven experience in service management within the heavy/light vehicle or transport industry is necessary.
* Financial Acumen: Strong financial acumen, including an understanding and application of financial indicators for better business decision-making, is essential.
* Communication and Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills are required to build strong relationships with customers.
* Trade Qualification: Trade qualification in heavy vehicle mechanics or equivalent is highly advantageous but not mandatory.
