Delivering a 5-star experience every step of the way. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Duty Manager to join our Front Office team. This is a pivotal leadership role suited for a hospitality professional ready to take the next step in their career. You will be the face of the hotel during your shift, ensuring smooth operations and delivering memorable guest experiences.
Pullman Cairns International is a centrally located 5-star hotel with 324 rooms, 18 versatile meeting spaces, Coco’s Kitchen and Bar, and in-room dining services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire the Front Office team to maintain high service standards and a welcoming guest experience.
- Provide hands-on training and ongoing support to ensure team members thrive in their roles.
- Respond to guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and a focus on timely, effective resolution.
- Encourage clear communication and teamwork across all departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Champion a culture of safety, wellbeing, and alignment with Accor’s values.
- Assist with the recruitment, onboarding, and continued development of Front Office staff.

Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous front office supervisory or Duty Manager experience in a hotel or resort environment, with a passion for hospitality and guest service
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and connect effortlessly with guests and team members
- Clear and confident communicator, adept at resolving issues, negotiating outcomes, and fostering positive relationships
- Knowledge of Opera Cloud PMS (highly regarded)
- Flexible and adaptable, with a proactive approach to problem-solving in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
- Willingness to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
