About the role
The Section Manager (Southern Regulation) will manage the human, physical, financial, and information resources of the Southern Industrial Regulation Section, a team of five.
* Work with various industries including renewables (windfarms), food processing facilities, manufacturing and mining/ extractive.
* Implement and manage the statutory system for the regulation of environmentally significant matters and activities.
* Provide strategic policy and authoritative professional advice on best practice environmental management and regulatory issues.
* Contribute to business planning, development of procedures, effective management, and future directions of the Branch.
