The Role
We are seeking a Concierge to join our esteemed team in a pivotal role that shapes the experience of our guests. Working alongside our Chief Concierge, you will curate unforgettable, bespoke experiences that resonate with The Langham's standards of excellence.
This role requires an individual of impeccable professionalism, with the poise to anticipate and fulfil guest needs seamlessly. You are self-motivated, adaptable, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Exceptional communication skills and meticulous attention to detail are paramount.
Key Responsibilities
* Warmly welcome and personally assist guests, ensuring each interaction is marked by genuine care and sophistication
* Provide expert guidance on local attractions, bespoke experiences, and exclusive activities tailored to guest preferences
* Anticipate guest requirements through thorough review of arrival profiles and proactive service delivery
* Maintain comprehensive knowledge of The Langham's services and facilities to promote and enhance guest engagement
* Uphold the hotel's impeccable standards of presentation, cleanliness, and service excellence at all times
* Facilitate seamless communication and handover between shifts to maintain continuity of service
* Foster positive collaboration across departments to uphold a culture of teamwork and shared commitment to guest satisfaction
* Support additional hotel operations, including Front Office functions, as required
Skills & Experience
* Demonstrated success in a concierge or guest relations role within a luxury hotel environment is highly regarded
* Accreditation with Les Clefs d'Or is advantageous
* Deep commitment to delivering personalised, intuitive and memorable guest service
* Exemplary grooming and professional presentation consistent with luxury brand standards
* Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in computer applications including Microsoft Office
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and respond with agility

* Valid Australian work permit, visa, residency, or citizenship
