Due to ongoing project growth, we are seeking experienced Plumbers to join our civil construction teams across Toowoomba and surrounding regional areas.
These are hands‐on roles suited to plumbers who enjoy large‐scale civil works, working outdoors as part of experienced site crews, and delivering critical underground infrastructure.
About the Role
As a Plumber at Newlands, you will work across a range of civil infrastructure projects involving sewer, stormwater and water services. You'll work closely with supervisors, engineers and plant operators to deliver works safely, efficiently and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out civil plumbing and drainage works on construction projects
* Install sewer, stormwater and water main infrastructure
* Lay and install pipelines including DCL, poly, PVC, concrete and mild steel
* Work with trenching, bedding, jointing and backfilling activities
* Read and interpret civil drawings and construction plans
* Operate safely around plant and equipment in trenching environments
* Ensure all works comply with WHS requirements, standards and site procedures
* Maintain high standards of workmanship, productivity and safety
About You
You're a trade‐qualified plumber with proven experience in civil construction and a strong understanding of underground services.
You will bring:
* Trade qualification in Plumbing & Drainage (Certificate III or higher)
* Minimum 3 years' experience working as a Civil Plumber
* Demonstrated experience installing DCL, poly, PVC, concrete and mild steel pipelines
* Strong understanding of trench safety and civil plumbing practices
* White Card (required)
* Valid driver's licence
