The Role
To act as a key liaison between Operations and Project Delivery, supporting the successful execution of infrastructure projects that are fit for purpose and aligned with TasWater's operational, financial, environmental and customer requirements.
The role will also provide oversight and hands-on contribution to projects across the state, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and delivering outcomes that support the broader operational strategy.
* Develop consistent project management and stakeholder engagement strategies to support statewide operations.
* Provide mentoring to individuals and teams to enhance their technical expertise, project management skills, and understanding of organisational priorities.
* Provide operational input into the planning, design and delivery of capital investment projects to ensure solutions are practical and fit for purpose.
* Contribute to governance, reporting and stakeholder engagement to ensure transparency and informed decision-making.
* Oversee and support projects across the state, ensuring outcomes align with organisational objectives and the broader operational strategy.

What we're looking for
We are seeking an experienced and collaborative professional who can effectively bridge Operations and Project Delivery to ensure capital projects are practical, fit for purpose and aligned with organisational objectives. The ideal candidate will bring strong stakeholder engagement skills, sound operational insight, and the ability to influence outcomes to support TasWater's broader operational and strategic goals.
* Certificate III Water Operations or equivalent demonstrated competence
* In depth understanding water and sewerage infrastructure assets and systems
* Ability to track, manage and interact with project management interfaces
* Strong ability to build effective working relationships across operations, project teams and senior stakeholders.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering outcomes aligned to organisational strategy.
* Ability to translate operational needs into practical project inputs and outcomes.

The Details
This role can be based in either Hobart, Launceston, or Devonport and attracts a salary of $131,265 - $145,850 (inclusive, of superannuation), negotiable dependent on experience.
