About the role
WA Limestone is seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic / Components Fitter to join our Perth metropolitan workshop. This role focuses on the inspection, rebuild, overhaul, and testing of heavy diesel components, with a strong emphasis on CAT equipment.
Key Responsibilities
* Strip, inspect, rebuild, and assemble heavy diesel components
* Rebuild engines, transmissions, torque converters, differentials, final drives, and hydraulic components
* Diagnose component faults and assess wear and damage
* Work according to OEM standards for disassembly, reusability, reassembly, and testing
* Interpret parts manuals and order parts as identified/required
* Accurately complete job cards and service documentation
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop
* Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams
About You
* Trade qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic (Australian recognised)
* Strong background in component rebuilds within a workshop environment
* Ability to read and interpret OEM manuals and technical schematics
* High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
* Strong safety focus and reliable work ethic
* Current WA driver's licence
