Candidates must be aged 18 years or above (or turning 18 soon) for lifeguard positions and 16 years or above for swim instructor positions.

As a Lifeguard you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all patrons and play a key part in the daily operations of our pools.

This opportunity is open to individuals aged 18 years and above who can obtain their pool lifeguard qualifications. The role includes:
* Supervise pool and surrounding areas to ensure patron safety.
* Educate the public on the Keep Watch Policy.
* Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers.
* Maintain a safe, clean environment for all aquatic facility patrons.
* Respond promptly to emergencies as they arise.
* Report significant incidents to the appropriate personnel.
* Identify and report risks.
* Maintain cleanliness of facility and aquatic areas.
* Carry out routine water testing.
* Carry out duties / tasks as directed
Qualifications
Lifeguards must possess or be willing to obtain the following certificates:
* Pool Lifeguard Certificate
* CPR Certificate
* First Aid Certificate
* Working with Children Blue Card
Casual pay rates between $33.38 - $35.00 (adult rates, junior rates differ)
Full-time Career Starts at $55k (adult rates, junior rates differ)
Swim Instructors:
We are currently looking for passionate, bubbly people who love the water and enjoy working with children. We offer an exciting work environment with flexible working hours that encourages a work life balance. While experience is not required (full training is provided), successful applicants will be required to obtain industry qualifications.
We have roles for weekday, morning and afternoon classes and Saturday morning shifts as part of our learn to swim program. You can work as little as 3hrs or as much as 30 hours per week, the choice is yours!
This opportunity is open to people aged 16 years and above who can obtain their swim teacher qualifications. The role includes:
* Planning lessons to achieve class outcomes
* Provide engaging and knowledgeable instruction to Learn to Swim participants.
* Ensure the safety of all participants and respond to emergencies according to procedures.
* Assist with setting up and packing up equipment for swim classes.
* Promote the swim school and its programs positively.
* Maintain compliance with safe work practices and WHS policies.
* Attend team meetings and training sessions.
* Offer excellent customer service to all patrons.
Qualifications
Swim Instructors must possess or be willing to obtain the following certificates:
* Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety
* CPR Certificate
* Working with Children Blue Card
Casual pay rates between $31.19 - $40.00 depending on experience (adult rates, junior rates differ)
