Heavy Vehicle Manufacturing is a family-owned business, and we are looking for a skilled
Boilermaker (specialising in aluminium)
to join our team and contribute to fabricating high-quality bullbars. The ideal candidate will have experience in aluminium welding, fabrication, and assembly, with a strong focus on precision, quality, and safety. As part of our team, you will help produce durable bullbars that meet our high standards and exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Fabricate and assemble bullbars from aluminium in line with design specifications and safety standards.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job instructions.
Operate various metalworking machinery, including welders, grinders, and cutting tools.
Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure all measurements and welds meet required specifications.
Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to maintain efficient operations.
Follow workplace safety protocols and keep a clean, organised workspace.
Requirements
Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade (Boilermaker) preferred or demonstrated knowledge and experience.
Proficiency in welding and fabrication techniques.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Good problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of workplace safety standards and practices.
Previous experience fabricating bullbars or similar products.
Experience with CNC machinery or other metal fabrication equipment.
