Due to continued growth, they are seeking a motivated Spare Parts Interpreter/Coordinator to join their team.
About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Spare Parts Interpreter/Coordinator to assist customers with parts inquiries, process orders, and coordinate inventory for our workshop and external clients.
This role is pivotal in ensuring timely and accurate supply of spare parts to meet customer demands.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret and source spare parts for mobile plant and heavy machinery.
Assist customers with parts inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
Identify and cross-reference part numbers using manufacturer catalogs and online systems.
Process sales orders, invoices, and quotes accurately.
Liaise with suppliers to check stock availability and place orders.
Maintain and update inventory records to ensure optimal stock levels.
Coordinate with the service department to ensure parts availability for repairs and maintenance.
Provide exceptional customer service and technical advice regarding parts and components.
Ensure correct packaging and dispatch of parts orders.
Skills & Experience Required:
Previous experience as a Spare Parts Interpreter/Coordinator in the automotive, heavy machinery, or diesel industry.
Strong understanding of diesel engines and mobile plant equipment.
Knowledge of Deutz, Kubota, Hatz, Yanmar, Kohler, and Mann brands is highly regarded.
Ability to accurately interpret parts catalogs, schematics, and manuals.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong computer skills, including experience with parts inventory systems and Microsoft Office.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
