Responsibilities
* Provide specialist anaesthetic services for a broad range of adult and paediatric surgery (excluding cardiac neurosurgery and transplant surgery)
* Deliver high-quality pre-operative assessment and post-operative care
* Share in the on‑call roster for acute and emergency cases
* Provide clinical leadership and supervision to anaesthetic trainees, junior doctors, medical students and nursing staff
* Contribute to quality improvement, governance and service development within a busy growing department

* Accredited by ANZCA for up to 12 months of training toward FANZCA

Essential Criteria
* Eligibility for registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA)
* Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA) or equivalent specialist qualification
