Project Coordinator Job Summary

Project coordinators are essential to the success of various projects across different industries.

* Providing administrative support to project teams, project personnel and operations team.
* Liaising with payroll services for employee timesheet submissions and resolving any queries promptly.
* Procuring site-related equipment and materials as directed by management.
* Managing plant and equipment registers to ensure up-to-date information.
* Assisting in implementing project initiatives that generate cost savings.
* Closing out and processing GRNs once materials have been received.
* Supporting the operations team and project team with administrative tasks as needed.
* Coordinating project personnel once mobilised to site, including roster management and escalating employee queries to HR.
* Assisting the recruitment team during manning periods and providing administrative support when required.
* Collaborating with HSE on training coordination for current employees.
* Leading the administration team by providing guidance, support and training.


Required Skills and Qualifications

* Previous experience in administration or project controls, preferably in a project or production environment.
* Knowledge of project planning, scheduling and cost control tools.
* Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational time management skills.
* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
