Permanent full-time Allied Health role delivering recovery-focused mental health outreach for people experiencing homelessness in North West Queensland.
About The Role
As an Allied Health professional within the Homeless Health Outreach Team (HHOT), you will deliver recovery-focused mental health care to individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Working within the Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drug Service (MHAODS), you will provide assessment, clinical interventions and collaborative care planning to support improved health and wellbeing outcomes for vulnerable members of the community.
In This Role You Will
Deliver comprehensive biopsychosocial and risk assessments to support consumer care. Develop and implement recovery-focused care and crisis plans with consumers and supports. Provide evidence-based therapies, counselling and psychosocial interventions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and community partners to support coordinated care.
Working with us
Eligible health practitioners entitled to accrue an additional three days professional development leave per annum, resulting in a total of six days professional development leave per annum.Eligible health practitioners working in designated remote areas will be entitled to a professional development allowance of $3,512.00 per annum.Rural and Remote incentive:Category D allowance of $431.22 p.f.Tax savings through salary sacrificing options are also available.
