About the Role
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Human Resources Manager will lead a small team and carry responsibility for the full range of human resources operations. You will act as the primary point of contact for leaders and staff and will provide prompt, practical and reliable support on daily people matters.
The role is practical, visible and closely connected to activity across the organisation. You will work frequently with supervisors and managers, respond to workplace issues as they arise and help ensure that compliance requirements, documentation and workflows remain accurate and consistent.
This position suits a human resources professional who is comfortable supporting day to day operations, who values clear and consistent processes and who enjoys helping leaders manage people matters with confidence.
Key Priorities Include
* Strategic Human Resources Leadership: Supporting the development and delivery of practical human resources approaches that help build a workplace culture based on inclusion, engagement and accountability, while ensuring activities align with day to day organisational needs.
* Human Resources Policy and Compliance: Ensuring compliance with legislative, National Disability Insurance Scheme, Child Safety and National Injury Insurance Scheme requirements and maintaining accurate documentation and records to support safe and consistent practice.
* Talent Acquisition: Overseeing recruitment processes, coordinating screening and onboarding and contributing to effective and timely attraction and retention of staff across a range of roles.
* Employee Relations: Providing clear and accessible guidance to leaders and staff to support performance, conduct and workplace matters and helping to maintain a fair, respectful and positive working environment.
* Remuneration and Benefits: Supporting the delivery and review of remuneration and benefits programmes to ensure clarity, consistency and compliance.
* Training and Development: Identifying training needs, coordinating mandatory and developmental training and supporting leaders to build capability through practical coaching and consistent people management practice.
* Human Resources Data and Reporting: Maintaining accurate human resources data and preparing workforce reports that assist leaders in planning and decision making.
About You
You are an experienced and energetic human resources professional who thrives in environments of growth, change and purpose.

* Strong generalist human resources experience with a focus on operational support, workforce coordination and practical solutions.
* The ability to influence, coach and collaborate with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.
* Confidence in navigating compliance, employment legislation and workforce processes, with the agility to respond to daily operational needs.
* A commitment to building positive workplace culture and maintaining systems and processes that help staff and teams to flourish.
* A growth mindset, curiosity and enthusiasm for supporting the development of a growing organisation.
* Experience in disability, health or community services is welcomed but not essential.
This role offers flexibility to candidates based anywhere in South East Queensland. The key requirement is a commitment to be onsite in Toowoomba approximately 2-3 days each week.
This role offers a base salary of $120,000 - $135,000 per year + super, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
