About The Role
As an Executive Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting General Managers and the broader division of Business Bank. Your primary focus will be to ensure the smooth operation of daily activities and to enable the leadership team to concentrate on driving business priorities. This dynamic and highly visible position requires you to manage complex calendars, coordinate high‐level meetings and forums, and serve as a central point of contact for critical programmes and events. You will work closely with other executive support professionals, contributing to the effective management of workloads and supporting divisional engagement activities. The role also involves managing travel arrangements, handling expense reconciliation, and assisting with onboarding and off‐boarding processes. You will be expected to maintain confidential records, support the upkeep of the division's intranet site, and embody BOQ Group's values in all aspects of your work. Your contribution will be essential in building social capital through banking, ensuring compliance with the Code of Conduct, and upholding the organisation's reputation.
About You
You are a highly organised and proactive professional, comfortable working in a fast‐paced environment and adept at managing multiple priorities with precision and confidentiality. With previous experience supporting senior management, you are proficient in the Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software. Your excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are matched by your attention to detail and commitment to quality. You have a talent for anticipating needs, solving problems before they arise, and handling sensitive information with discretion and integrity. Flexibility is important to you, and you are willing to provide support across the full week, including occasional after‐hours work. Above all, you are driven by BOQ Group's values—spirited, optimistic, curious, inclusive, accountable, and lionhearted—and are eager to contribute to a team that values integrity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
