Business Analyst Job Opportunity

About the Role:
The successful candidate will lead end-to-end business analysis for key commercial and operational initiatives, partnering with stakeholders to gather, define, and document business requirements. They will develop actionable insights using sales, demand, and inventory data, and support trade spend optimisation, pricing, and promotional analysis. The ideal candidate will also identify and drive process improvements across supply and demand planning, work closely with IT teams on system enhancements and data integration, prepare business cases, process maps, and functional specifications, and assist in system implementation and support UAT where required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead business analysis for commercial and operational initiatives
* Partner with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements
* Develop insights using sales, demand, and inventory data
* SUPPORT trade spend optimisation and pricing analysis
* Identify and drive process improvements across supply and demand planning
* Work with IT teams on system enhancements and data integration
* Prepare business cases and process maps
* Assist in system implementation and UAT
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you will need:
* 2-5 years' experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 in Energy, retail, or consumer goods
* Proven ability to interpret large data sets and turn insights into business actions
* Strong knowledge of operations-supply chain, sales, promotions, forecasting
* Experience working with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle), and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
* Advanced Excel and data modelling skills
* Familiarity with trade spend analysis and commercial finance principles
* Strong communication skills and stakeholder management ability
* Agile project delivery experience is desirable
