About the Role
The Accounts Coordinator - Licensed Venues, predominantly based at the Cowboys Leagues Club, will play a vital role in managing the accounts payable and receivable functions of the Club, reconciliation of bank accounts and assisting with the reconciliation and maintenance of Point-of-Sale software and systems. This role is a permanent part-time position, 30 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily bank reconciliations and prepare trading summaries.
Process, match, and enter invoices into the accounting system with accurate digital filing.
Update key financial spreadsheets, including cash flow, variance, and operational reports.
Coordinate weekly creditor payment runs and assist with debtor collections.
Reconcile credit card transactions, clearing accounts, and account card reports.
Assist with month-end closing procedures, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
Provide support for Point of Sale (POS) systems and gaming-related financial processes.
Maintain organised financial records, including archiving, meter readings, and general administrative tasks.
Qualifications & Certificates
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business/Finance and/or accounting software desirable.
Relevant Experience and Key Competencies / Skills
Minimum 1 year of experience in accounts payable/receivable or a similar administrative role within a licensed venue or high-volume transaction environment.
Strong IT skills, including cloud-based software.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Demonstrated commitment to accuracy, integrity, and meticulous attention to detail in financial record-keeping.
Clear and effective communication skills.
