**About the role**:
Drillman are excited to be recruiting an Inventory Manager for our Global Supply and Inventory team. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Inventory Manager will be responsible for maintaining, managing, and monitoring the global inventory holdings and warehousing. The Inventory manager will do this by working closely with our Purchasing and Logistics teams, providing support regarding stock requirements and inventory data. Additionally, the Inventory Manager will have management responsibility of our third-party logistics support provider, and our in-housed Warehouse personnel.
Based at our head office in Murarrie, this is a full-time opportunity working Monday - Friday with flexible work options available.
Day to day duties include but are not limited to:
- Managing and maintaining of inventory balances and valuations in ERP ensuring ERP reflects cost and sale prices
- Global pricing support in condition with Supply and Logistics
- Ensure accuracy of inventory data in the ERP including weigh, dimensions and HSN codes
- Management, coordination, and processing of cyclical stock takes internally and with third-party support
- Ensure data accuracy across all systems
- Support ongoing reconciliation of inventory and stock across warehouse and inventory systems
- Generate and maintain reports for all stock and inventory requirements
- Review inventory KPI reporting to ensure accuracy
- Reporting of obsolete stock to management and sales
- Leading a successful and productive team
- Coordination and project management of third-party logistics provider
**About you**:
You will be a solutions focused, detail orientated person with previous experience as an Inventory or Product Manager. You will have the following skills, qualifications, and experience:
- Previous 3-5 years' experience in an inventory management or product management role.
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team of reports
- Confidence and experience in developing systems and procedures to improve efficiency, workflow, and procedural outcomes
- Demonstrable experience in ERP or Inventory systems integrity and support
- Strong working knowledge of Inventory, Purchasing and Logistics cross function and support
- Computer literacy with intermediate to advance working knowledge of Microsoft suite
- Ability to work productively, efficiently, and effectively with initiative, drive under tight timescales and pressure whilst maintaining attention to deal and quality
- Experience using Dynamics 365 would be highly advantageous
