Nexus Mining is a leading provider of specialised services to the underground coal mining industry, with an established workforce across New South Wales and Queensland.
This role is primarily focused on recruitment, where you'll play a key role in sourcing, attracting, and onboarding top talent across the business. It's a fast-paced, people-focused position that also offers variety.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end recruitment across multiple sites
* Build and maintain strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders
* Report on recruitment activity, pipeline status, and hiring metrics
* Meet KPIs and targets related to hiring timelines and quality
* Maintain compliance with internal policies, legislation and industry standards
* Contribute to continuous improvement of recruitment processes and candidate experience
* Manage recruitment compliance
* Schedule candidate medicals, inductions, and training as part of onboarding
* Assess applications and conduct interviews
* Maintain accuracy across HR onboarding systems and databases
* Other ad-hoc administration tasks as required
Essential Criteria
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proven experience in end-to-end recruitment
* Strong time management with effective planning and prioritisation
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Ability to manage competing priorities and work both autonomously and collaboratively
* High level of attention to detail and accuracy
* Eagerness to learn and willingness to take on new challenges
