Key Role:
* As a systems engineer, you will contribute to the development of guided-missile destroyer (DDG) requirements baseline and deliver updated DDG specifications as part of the Destroyer Capability Enhancement (DCE) upgrade.
* You will execute Combat System Systems Engineering activities for requirements analysis, architecture definition, and subsystem development in preparation for integration, test, and trials/evaluation.
* Your responsibilities will include developing, maintaining, and updating system functional and non-functional requirements and design artefacts.
* You must prepare for and support major program milestones such as design reviews, test readiness, and system readiness reviews.
* Implement approved engineering changes and interact with specialty engineering disciplines for design assurance and holistic system compliance.
About You:
* A strong understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle, methods, tools, and techniques is essential.
* You will have experience working in an engineering project multi-disciplinary environment, preferably within the defence industry.
* The ability to work with internal stakeholders and external partnering organisations to achieve common goals is crucial.
* Familiarity with development methodologies on complex modern systems using a documented process is desirable.
