Sport Integrity Australia are looking to fill the role of EL1 State and Territory Sport Integrity Capability Lead - Executive Level 1
About the role
The primary purpose of the State and Territory Sport Integrity Capability Lead (S&T Capability Lead) is to develop a state and territory integrity capability strategy, a key component of the national integrity capability strategy. The S&T Capability Lead will engage with key stakeholders, primarily state and territory governments and sports federations to determine the capability requirements of each jurisdiction. The S&T Capability Lead will coordinate negotiations regarding resourcing with each jurisdiction and lead implementation of the agreed capability requirements.
The duties of the State and Territory Sport Integrity Capability Lead include, but is not limited to:
* in consultation with the Director, NIM Network Lead and NIM Capability Lead, implementing an integrity capability strategy for the sector to enhance integrity capability in all jurisdictions to support state and territory sport organisations and state institutes and academies in the implementation of the National Integrity Framework or Sport Integrity Policy Standards
* engaging and collaborating with state and territory governments, sports federations, state institutes and academies and other key stakeholders to identify opportunities, achieve outcomes and facilitate cooperation
* engage and contribute to the Jurisdictional Sport Integrity Network and State Integrity engagement activities coordinated by the Sport Partnership team
* coordinating cross-agency collaboration of subject matter and policy experts to develop tools and resources for each jurisdiction with a particular focus on learning and development
* implementing a monitoring and evaluation framework to continually develop and strengthen the integrity capability of sports
* planning and managing the use of resources to ensure outcomes are delivered within agreed timeframes and within budget
* undertaking risk management and assessment activities to mitigate potential risks to achieving Sport Integrity Australia's mission and objectives
* enhancing the capability and reputation of Sport Integrity Australia
What we are looking for (selection criteria):
* tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated relevant experience
* demonstrated understanding of sport integrity initiatives and application in a state / territory jurisdiction
* highly developed stakeholder engagement skills and demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships with the ability to influence and achieve results
* proven strategic thinking and aligning with operational activities, analysis and insights
* proven ability to work independently or under limited guidance and exercise judgement to make decisions
