EY's Parthenon Infrastructure Advisory team in Warrang, Sydney offers a supportive environment where our clients receive expert advice on strategy, policy reform, investment decisions, and transaction processes. We are seeking a Senior Consultant eager to contribute to the growth of our team.
Responsibilities
* Support government decision‐making through economic and financial analysis addressing strategic policy reform and regulatory issues.
* Develop cutting‐edge strategies and business cases to support government investments.
* Provide quality commercial and procurement advice across the transaction lifecycle, from go‐to‐market planning and industry engagement to financial close and beyond.
* Provide insightful commercial, economic, and strategic policy advice to a diverse client base, including government and private‐sector clients.
* Craft clear, well‐structured reports and presentations.
* Utilise analytical models to evaluate costs, benefits, and impacts.
* Contribute to business development through proposals, pitches, and thought leadership.
* Play a role in managing client engagements and presenting your analysis and findings.
* Foster meaningful relationships across EY and with clients and industry professionals.
Skills and Attributes for Success
* 2‐4 years of relevant industry experience.
* Tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting, engineering, economics or law.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams and deliver high‐quality work on client engagements, while developing client relationships.
* Experience in professional consulting practices, finance, construction or government sectors.
* Experience in transport and/or renewable energy projects highly regarded.
* Keen interest in tackling complex challenges that positively impact all Australians.
* Strong communication skills and quantitative/qualitative analysis skills.
* Proactive, positive attitude and collaborative spirit.
