You will work within a small multi-purpose facility that compromises a 14-bed aged care facility and a 7 bed acute setting.
We are looking for an experienced Social Worker with a background in rural generalist social work, who is able to work autonomously and efficiently within a small multi-disciplinary team.As we currently have an ageing population with 25% being over 65 years of age, it's essential that you have a good understanding of aged care, being conversant with the relevant legislation and future planning.
The case work can vary, and you could be working within the area of domestic violence, to grief and loss, onto a family meeting on the ward, or to report writing.
