Assistant Manager Role
The Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring seamless restaurant operations, working closely with the Restaurant General Manager to maintain exceptional guest satisfaction. This involves overseeing daily activities, managing financial controls, and leading people development across shifts.
In the absence of the Restaurant General Manager, the Assistant Manager assumes full responsibility for restaurant operations. They operate under the direct management of the Restaurant General Manager and take charge of the restaurant team. Key responsibilities include:
* Directing efficient and accurate preparation and sale of products
* Motivating and directing team members
* Supervising and training team members
* FOLLOWING CASH CONTROL/SECURITY PROCEDURES
* Implementing marketing plans
This position demands strong leadership skills, industry knowledge, and the ability to identify and resolve routine issues. The Assistant Manager must be available to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with consistent attendance for assigned shifts, meetings, and training sessions.
