Full Time Grounds & Maintenance Officer – Federation Werribee Lifestyle Site
Reporting to the Community Manager, this role is responsible for maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces and general site upkeep, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for residents and guests.
Location: Federation Werribee Lifestyle site, Werribee.
Responsibilities
1. Maintain outdoor spaces through mowing, pruning, planting, and pest control.
2. Carry out general repairs and upkeep across accommodation, pool areas, and equipment with a focus on quality and efficiency.
3. Coordinate contractor work and manage grounds maintenance budgets within financial guidelines.
4. Conduct regular WHS checks, follow safety protocols, and ensure accurate documentation of maintenance activities and incidents.
5. Collaborate with team members, respond to resident queries, and contribute to a positive, respectful workplace culture.
Qualifications
6. Current "C" Class manual driver's licence.
7. Hands‐on experience in building and grounds maintenance, with strong problem‐solving and calm emergency response skills.
8. Proactive, positive, and committed to high levels of service with clear communication and a team‐first attitude.
9. Comfortable with manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and operating tools and equipment across varied terrain and conditions.
10. Understanding of PPE and safe handling of chemicals, tools, and machinery to maintain a secure work environment.
