Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Product Support Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing existing accounts and developing new ones, identifying aftermarket Caterpillar parts and WesTrac service sales opportunities within a defined customer portfolio.
You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including owner/operators and fleet managers, to enhance the customer experience. Your duties will include sales forecasting, CRM maintenance and other sales support functions.
* Develop specific customer opportunities within the Commercial Engines, Local Government, Civil, Building and Construction industries.
* Sell Caterpillar parts and WesTrac services.
* Develop specific customer opportunities and the regional growth plan.
* Manage current customer portfolio and develop new accounts.
* Promote parts and service offerings in line with focused Caterpillar/WesTrac programs.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Trade qualification with significant industry sales experience.
* Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth and/or previous experience with account management.
* Excellent customer service skills with the ability to develop strong relationships.
* Well-developed analytical, problem solving and decision-making abilities.
* Current driver's licence and the ability and willingness to travel.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work well autonomously and within a team.
* Computer literacy skills – MS Office and Sales.
* Caterpillar product knowledge and experience (desirable).
* Construction industry sales experience (desirable).
