About The Team
The Solutions Architecture (SA) organization serves as solution and product Subject Matter Experts, providing technical guidance throughout the customer lifecycle. As Solution Specialists, we collaborate across functions—including Sales, Solutions Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, and Professional Services—to drive technical wins, align on customer use cases, optimize solution designs, and support go-to-market strategies.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
As a Solution Specialist, your focus will be on driving pre-sales technical excellence and pipeline growth for HashiCorp solutions. You will serve as a domain expert, working closely with Solutions Engineers to achieve technical wins through Validation, Use Case Exploration, and Proof-of-Value (POV) execution. You will help deepen customer engagement with our products during sales motions.
* Support presales lifecycle as a domain expert for HashiCorp's products and ecosystem.
* Partner with Solutions Engineers and Account Teams to accelerate pipeline and close deals via technical validation, demos, and enablement.
* Deliver product presentations, deep dives, evaluations, workshops, and POVs to meet customer needs.
* Translate customer challenges into scalable best practices and reusable assets.
* Develop expertise across HashiCorp's product portfolio and usage patterns.
* Collaborate with Product teams to create reusable content for key use cases.
* Act as a trusted technical advisor and advocate for customers and internal teams.
* Promote key product features aligned with strategic use cases in enterprise infrastructure, security, and application delivery.
What You'll Need (Minimum Qualifications)
* B.S. in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
* Ability to thrive in fast-paced, customer-focused environments.
* Capability to work independently in remote teams.
* Excellent communication skills for technical content delivery.
* Deep technical knowledge in cloud, infrastructure, DevOps, and application management.
* Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code, cloud architecture, secrets management, networking, or provisioning technologies.
* Experience supporting infrastructure platforms or developer environments.
This is a customer-facing role; travel may be required for workshops, evaluations, or events.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience creating technical content like architectural patterns and demos.
* Support presales motions through pairing, reviews, and mentoring.
* Deep expertise in at least one HashiCorp product area; certifications preferred.
* Cloud provider certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP).
* Certifications in container orchestration (e.g., CKA).
