About the Role
* This position requires expertise in the development process, technologies, and project objectives. The Product Development Manager executes customer-facing functions within Australia and New Zealand, advising customers on product choice and application.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Customer Product Development:
o Maintain an overview of projects, customer capabilities, and product portfolios.
o Advise customers on product suitability and work closely with Sales and Marketing.
o Provide technical support and create new market opportunities.
* Product Expert Related:
o Perform sensory tests, assess feasibility, and collaborate with stakeholders.
o Support industrial trials, identify project members, and analyze customer samples.
* Travel Requirements:
o travel throughout Australia and occasionally to SEA, NZ, and Pacific Islands.
About You
* Bachelor or Master's Degree in Food Science or Technology preferred.
* Demonstrated experience in the Food Industry, preferably in the chocolate industry.
* Project management capability, sales experience, and fluent Business English.
* Analytical mindset, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
* Able to work in a complex environment, adaptable to new approaches, and entrepreneurial spirit.
