Overview
Extrusion Machine Operator – Production & Manufacturing Coopers Plains, Queensland. Temporary role starting May 1, 2026. Labourforce is seeking a Machine Operator to join our client in Cooper Plains on an on-going basis. You will be required to be available for a rotating roster (6am-6pm and 6pm-6am). The pay rate is $48.85 per hour (flat rate) with a view to permanency for the right person.
Responsibilities
* You will make Plastic PVC piping; end to end process
* Operate an extrusion machine (no experience required, but previous experience operating any machinery will be an advantage)
* Inspect the quality of the product based on client requirements
* Use of a forklift to put away finished product (an advantage, but not required)
About you / Qualifications
* Current Forklift license
* Willing to complete our Pre-employment medical process
* Experience operating a machine is an advantage
* Physically fit, as you may need to lift up to 20kgs
* Able to commit to a rotating roster, you will work 7 days (both day and night shift) across a 14 day roster – 2 days in week 1, 5 days in week 2
* Able to travel to Cooper Plains
