THIS IS A PERMANENT, FULL‑TIME POSITION
Under the direction of the District Manager, the position:
* Manages and coordinates the financial and administration functions of the Albany District, and where relevant provides finance and administrative support to the South Coast Region.
* Provides leadership and supervision of the district finance and administration team.
* Ensures continuity of service to the district and, where relevant, to the South Coast Region for financial management and general administration.
In this role, you will lead others to help drive positive change, consistent with the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA) Leadership Expectations.
Selection Criteria
* Demonstrated experience and working knowledge at a supervisory level of administrative and financial management processes and practices, including preparing, monitoring and reviewing budgets, managing records, procurement and supply, applying industrial awards and managing funds internal and external to an organisation.
* Knowledge and experience with compiling and interrogating financial information, analysing data and reporting on trends.
* Evidence of well‑developed interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining positive working relationships with other staff and external clients.
* Demonstrated analytical, conceptual and organisational skills, able to solve problems, work effectively in a team environment and alone, and provide leadership in championing change.
