About the Role
Doma Hotels has a strong focus on making a big impact on our guest experience. Our latest Restaurant will showcase local quality produce and 5-star customer service.
We are looking for a Sous Chef to join our team and who will have the opportunity to work in a first-class dining venue and be trained by some of the very best Chefs.
To be successful you must possess the following attributes:
* Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a similar role within a high-quality restaurant.
* Assisting the Head Chef in planning menus and ordering food supplies
* Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures
* Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations
* Lead, train, and mentor junior staff
* Deliver consistency in product quality and presentation
* Good communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
* The sous chef must be able to manage their own section, and assist other sections
What you will bring:
* A willingness to learn and a keen interest in food
* Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
* Ability to work individually as well as part of a team
* Strong organisational and time-management skills
* Available to work both weekdays and weekends
* Ability to work effectively and calmly in a fast-paced environment
* Demonstrating appropriate level cooking techniques and procedures
