The Bistro Supervisor is an important role for the business. It has the responsibility of guiding and mentoring team members, problem solving issues that arise and leading the Bistro team to provide exceptional service. It is also a role that will be involved with implementing policy and procedures.
The Bistro Supervisor will be the first contact for any negative customer feedback and be able to resolve any complaint promptly and effectively.
The focus for this position is to provide guidance and direction to staff, maintain service standards, oversee service delivery and liaise with kitchen and other food and beverage outlets.
It is expected that this role will lead by example and uplift our staff during busy moments in our fast-paced environment. Ultimately, you will ensure our Bistro runs smoothly and customers have pleasant dining experiences.
Some of the tasks and responsibilities but limited too that come with the Bistro Supervisor role are as followed.
* Coordinate daily Bistro operations
* Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
* Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
* Staff supervision and provide feedback to improve productivity
* Ensure compliance with RSA, food safety and hygiene regulations
* Manage Bistro image and suggest ways to improve
* Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
* Compile reports for the Operations Manager as required
* Be proactive to promote the Bistro and Club brand
* Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
* Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future Bistro operations
* Increasing sales at all opportunities through suggestive selling
* Communicate with the Duty Manager regarding any changes or problems with service
Special requirements/tools/equipment/clothing:
Uniform provided to be laundered by you and always of a high standard.
Black pants or skirt, black leather shoes, clean shaven every day (male), hair tied back if long and groomed.
Facial Piercings and tattoos must be approved by management.
This is a role that must lead by example, so a professional image must be always displayed.

Available for work Monday to Sunday and as advised by roster.
