About the Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will take ownership of revenue recognition, WIP, billing, and accounts receivable across project-based contracts. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate month-end reporting, strong financial controls, and meaningful insights that support cash flow and business performance.
Responsibilities
* Own revenue recognition across project-based contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance
* Maintain WIP integrity and support timely revenue conversion
* Prepare month-end journals, reconciliations, and revenue reporting
* Ensure billing accuracy, manage aged debt, and support collections and dispute resolution
* Partner across the business with various stakeholders
* Deliver insights on revenue, WIP, and AR performance.
Key Skills
* CA/CPA qualified (working towards will be considered)
* Strong financial accounting experience.
* Must be a strong communicator and dealing with senior level stakeholders
* Solid understanding of revenue recognition (IFRS/AASB)
* Exposure to contract or project-based environments
* ERP experience (SAP or similar)
