Property Maintenance Technician Job Description
This is a hands-on operator role for someone who loves getting jobs done fast, clean, and to spec. You'll be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of small works and responsive maintenance across residential properties.
* You will action work orders, make-safes, and urgent repairs with photographic before/after proof and clear notes in the app.
* You will patch and paint, doors/hardware, skirting/architraves, tiling regrout/silicone, basic cabinetry fixes, minor concreting, glazing swaps, etc.
* You will deliver neat, durable outcomes that reduce call-backs.
* You will receive jobs via our system, confirm ETAs, order small materials, close out with photos, labour & materials logged accurately.
* You may identify when a licensed trade is required (plumbing/electrical) and book approved subbies and verify completion to scope.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Multi-trade capability: Carpentry, patch/paint, tiling/silicone, basic concreting, general maintenance.
* Speed + standards: You move quickly without cutting corners.
* Systems-friendly: Comfortable using job apps for scheduling, notes, photos, and invoicing inputs.
* Communication: Clear, polite updates to tenants, PMs, and owners.
* Problem solving: If it's broken—you fix it; if it needs a specialist—you line it up.
