The Company:
A well-established not for profit organisation is searching for a Finance Manager to join their team. This role will working on a 3-6 month part time contract role with a potential to go permanent.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare monthly financial reports, forecasts, and cashflow analysis, providing insights to senior leadership.
* Oversee year-end processes, statutory accounts, and external audits to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
* Manage day-to-day finance operations including invoicing, expense reconciliation, and cash management.
* Maintain accurate financial systems and data, supporting effective reporting and decision-making.
* Support strategic planning through financial modelling, pricing analysis, and process improvements.
* Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, legal, and insurance requirements.
* Provide leadership, supervision, and support to finance team members.
About you:
* Strong commercial mindset with the ability to turn financial data into clear insights for decision-making.
* Highly organised and detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
* Confident communicator who can advise senior leaders and manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
* Experience working within a registered Australian charity or not-for-profit organisation.
