About our role:
We are seeking experienced Grader and Loader Operators to join our team on a 2:1 day/night roster at the Telfer Project, a well-established gold mining operation in the Great Sandy Desert of WA, with works commencing early March 2026. This role will support the construction of the Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) and associated civil earthworks.
This is a long-term opportunity offering consistent work, stable production, and strong job security. In this role, you will operate graders for haul road maintenance and loaders (988, 990, 992, WA500, WA600) for truck loading, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality operations.
Your Focus in this role:
* Operate 14 or 140 graders to maintain haul roads and TSF access tracks to specification
* Operate large loaders to efficiently load haul trucks as part of bulk earthworks and TSF construction
* Work to daily production plans, ensuring targets and schedules are met safely and efficiently
* Maintain a strong focus on safe operating practices, including pre-starts, hazard identification, and compliance with site procedures
* Collaborate effectively with supervisors, operators, and surveyors to ensure smooth operations
* Take responsibility for your machine and work area, ensuring housekeeping, environmental, and compliance standards are upheld
What You'll Bring:
* Proven experience operating 14 or 140 graders in a civil construction or mining environment, primarily for haul road maintenance
* Proven experience operating large loaders (988, 990, 992, WA500, WA600) in civil or mining operations
* Strong understanding of equipment operating techniques, haul/loading efficiency, and safe work practices
* Experience working on large-scale earthworks or TSF projects highly regarded
* Commitment to safety, quality, environmental controls, and compliance
* Ability to work as part of a production-focused team in a FIFO mining environment
