Our Rail Division, previously known as Great Southern Rail ("GSR"), operates Australia's iconic rail journeys, The Ghan, Indian Pacific, The Overland and Great Southern. There are very few global journeys considered national treasures, but our trains are iconic Australian experiences. About Journey Beyond
Australia's leading experiential tourism group, Journey Beyond, operates 20 brands spanning the country and New Zealand, connecting guests to the land, and to each other. Role and Responsibilities
* Mechanical fitting, maintenance, and breakdown work
* Fabrication, welding, and repair of structural and mechanical components
* Workshop and/or site-based work
* Ensure active involvement in Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing and 5S activities
Requirements

* Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter and Boilermaker
* Strong mechanical fault-finding and welding skills
* Ability to read and interpret drawings
* Safety-focused with a strong work ethic
Tickets & Licences (desirable)
* High Risk Work Licence (LF, WP, etc.)
