Overview
An exciting opportunity exists for permanent Demi Chef with a passion for Mediterranean cuisine to join our team at the Roslyn Packer Theatre.
You will assist in preparing dishes for a Mediterranean-inspired seasonal menu, offering guests a memorable dining experience in a fast-paced environment.
Additionally, you will prepare dishes for a variety of functions and events at the venue.
Responsibilities
Based at Pier 4, Dawes Point, close to the Harbour Bridge
7 minutes' walk from Barangaroo Metro Station
Preparing exceptionally presented dishes, consistent in flavour and appearance according to recipes
Supervise and train other kitchen staff
Ensure the highest standards of presentation and quality
Permanent role
Annual salary at $75,000 plus super
Essential Requirements
Experience in fast paced a la carte service and high-volume event catering is essential
Have excellent communication skills
Be passionate and open to learning new skills in the kitchen
Be punctual and reliable
Hold valid working rights
