As the Nursing Unit Manager in the Emergency Department, you will play a pivotal leadership role in driving excellence in patient care, unit operations and team performance within a fast‐paced and dynamic clinical environment.

* Lead and manage nursing and relevant multidisciplinary staff, ensuring safe, effective and patient‐centred care across the Emergency Department.
* Coordinate the delivery of high‐quality nursing care to meet clinical, operational and organisational priorities.
* Provide strong, visible leadership that fosters collaboration, accountability and a positive team culture.
* Build and maintain effective working relationships with staff, medical colleagues, allied health professionals and consumers.
* Contribute as a valued member of a highly experienced leadership team, influencing service delivery and continuous improvement initiatives.

Are You the Right Fit?
You are a senior nursing leader with the capability, confidence and vision to lead people and services in a complex and fast‐paced emergency care environment.

* Demonstrated senior nursing experience with a strong track record in leading staff, managing services and supporting safe, effective care delivery in a relevant clinical setting.
* Proven ability to manage human, physical and financial resources to deliver safe, compassionate, high‐quality and culturally responsive care.
* Highly developed communication and engagement skills, enabling effective collaboration with patients, carers and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure responsive care.
* Demonstrated capacity to build positive professional relationships, manage conflict constructively and address performance issues with confidence and integrity.
* Strong critical thinking skills with demonstrated participation in risk management, work health and safety, quality improvement and the delivery of evidence‐based nursing care.
