FUEL ANCILLARIES OFFICER Hamilton Island is seeking a dedicated and organised Fuel Ancillaries Officer to join our Engineering and Services team.
Based on beautiful Hamilton Island, you'll play a key role in maintaining the safety, compliance, and operational efficiency of fuel and LPG systems across Hamilton Island, Dent Island, and Shute Harbour.

You will support operational continuity through effective maintenance scheduling, inventory control, and ensuring regulatory requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities Undertake regular daily and monthly checks across all fuel and LPG systems Manage access to storage facilities, ensuring security and inventory control Schedule and coordinate routine and ad hoc maintenance Troubleshoot and resolve fuel payment system issues Decant and dispose of out-of-date LPG cylinders, and manage shipments Support breakdowns and repairs within LPG Storage Facility Order, receive, and secure fuel and LPG deliveries across sites Maintain detailed records and generate fuel usage and access reports Escort airport fuel trucks as required Coordinate and support projects related to fuel and LPG systems Ensure compliance with all maintenance, operational and environmental regulations Conduct fuel reconciliation and emergency preparedness Train and induct relevant staff in fuel and LPG operations Maintain functionality of emergency systems, spill kits, and fire safety equipment About You You are a reliable, safety-conscious professional with strong mechanical knowledge and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
You have excellent organisational and communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining operational excellence in a dynamic environment.
