About the Role
Within a Federal Government Department in Canberra, we are seeking an experienced professional to lead the development of cost estimates for LC4 project and program submissions.
They will be responsible for coordinating Land C4 specific modelling and collaborating with the Land Capability Division cost estimation workforce.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in project cost model development, previous experience in Defence financial management positions, and a degree in a relevant field.
They should also have experience working with the Capability Lifecycle and providing security input and guidance to Defence projects at various points of the Capability Lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include managing the development of tranche and project cost models, ensuring consistency across projects, current tranches, and future tranches.
This position works closely with the SO1 Capability Development team.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience in project cost model development
* Previous experience in Defence financial management positions
* Degree in a relevant field (e.g., business administration, finance)
* Experience with the Capability Lifecycle
* Experience providing security input and guidance to Defence projects
