About the Role
We are seeking a Director of Global Sales Regional Revenue Accounting Support to join our finance leadership team. The role will serve as a strategic business partner to Sales, Deal Desk, Legal, and Revenue Accounting teams across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC. It will provide regional contract support, ASC 606 guidance, finance analytics, and escalation management, while ensuring global consistency tailored to regional business needs.
Reports to: Sr. Director, Global Revenue Accounting (US Headquarters)
Location: London, UK & Sydney, Australia
Key Responsibilities
- Revenue recognition and accounting policy gatekeeping – ensure compliance with ASC 606 and company policy, including review of non-standard terms and collaboration with Legal.
- Deal structuring and contract review – provide support to sales teams for compliant and profitable deals.
- Data analytics expertise – offer insights on deal performance (NPACV, ARR, etc.) and maintain regional dashboards.
- Month‑end close support – assist with recon review and support SOX compliance during month‑end close.
- Collaboration & escalation – train teams, bridge global policies with regional practice, and support global QTC function with playbooks and templates.
Key Metrics for Success
- Accuracy: full compliance with the company's revenue recognition policy.
- Timeliness: 99% of deal reviews completed within SLA (24 h for standard, 48 h for complex deals).
- Consistency: standardized ASC 606 application across regions.
- Escalation: time‑to‑resolution tracked and improved quarterly.
- Stakeholder feedback: positive ratings from Sales, Deal Desk, and Finance partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in technical accounting, revenue recognition, or audit, preferably in SaaS / technology industry.
- Deep expertise in ASC 606 and SaaS contract structures.
- Proven ability to partner with Sales, Deal Desk, Legal, and FP&A; teams.
- Strong analytical and communication skills; able to translate complex guidance into actionable advice.
