THE OPPORTUNITY

Kennedys is seeking an experienced Associate with 2+ years' PQE to join our dynamic Liability team in either our thriving Sydney or Melbourne office.

This is an exceptional opportunity to work directly with two specialist Partners, Peter Craney and Chris Finn, gaining sophisticated exposure to complex shipping, marine, property and aviation matters within our market-leading liability and insurance practice.

You'll join a team of highly experienced Special Counsel, Senior Associates and fellow Associates, supported by our dedicated Paralegals and Legal Secretaries, enabling you to excel in the fast-paced world of insurance litigation.

* Australian, Lloyd's, London and overseas market (re)insurers
* Shipping and transport companies
* Major airlines
* Large corporates

Essential Requirements

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

* 2+ years' PQE in liability or general insurance litigation
* Background or genuine interest in marine, aviation, transportation or property damage matters
* Strong litigation skills with proven track record of managing complex files
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
