A leading construction company seeks a Construction Superintendent to oversee projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will plan, organize, and control onsite duties.
* Perform regular inspections to ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are met.
* Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and staff to meet project requirements.
* Travel extensively for site visits.
* Manage human resources by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining onsite employees.
* Partner with management teams to direct and coordinate the management of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate records of project expenditures and identify variances.
* Implement corrective actions to meet project objectives.
* Evaluate project progress and adhere to construction schedules by defining project purpose and scope, allocating resources, and assessing milestone assumptions.
* Ensure a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing industry standards and procedures.
* Stay up-to-date on emerging construction practices and standards.
